AGRICULTURIST IN INDIA

Agriculture is the main profession in all States of India. From ancient days to now, cultivation methods and products have changed and even meeting the present needs of the people in excess. That's why the Government has not given importance to the agriculturists and exploiting them in all manner.

  1. I heard the news recently that after decades India started to import rice to meet the needs of the people. I never imagined that India would ever import rice from foreign countries considering the agricultural wealth she has.

What a pity? Are our "so called" citizens listening? or have they been blind folded with a famous Rs. 1 rupee per kg. offer?

  2. Yes Mr. Kari, this will continue for the remaining essential commodities also. Most of our agriculturists are in an unorganized manner. They are compelled to give up their profession and search for other jobs. This process is speeding and widening all over the country.

However, a team of researchers are creating an awareness among the agriculturists for replacing the present agriculture system of using chemicals with completely using organic manures / pesticides. This process is also getting accelerated.

So, we can expect another "green revolution" but with good cause to the mankind.

I invite those who are knowing the agriculture profession well and doing some other work for the sake of comfort, to return back to their original profession.
